Please mark your calendars for Reunion 2024, taking place September 20-21, 2024. Stay tuned for updated photos from our recent events.

Medical Student Programs

The Alumni Association supports and engages Weill Cornell Medical College students through educational, networking and community-building programs and our new Student Groups Grants program.

Alumni-to-Student-Knowledge (ASK) Program

The Alumni-to-Student Knowledge (ASK) program provides a unique forum where students can discuss education, career and lifestyle choices with alumni in a casual and intimate Zoom or hybrid setting. The ASK program is moderated by Alumni Association board members Dr. Paul F. Miskovitz (M.D. '75), Dr. Shari Midoneck (M.D. ’89) and Dr. Sharyn Miskovitz (M.D. ’06).

ePREP

The ePREP program connects students with alumni, helping the students prepare virtually for residency interview season through a mock interview and discussion with alumni. The ePREP program is a great way for alumni to make an impact, stay connected to the Medical College and support the next generation of physicians.

Student Groups Grants Program

The Student Groups Grants Program provides financial support to student groups to support their work in making a difference in the Weill Cornell Medicine community and beyond. The Grants Program funds student groups in areas of community service, academic interest, diversity organizations, policy and advocacy groups, and special interest and recreational groups.

New Student Orientation Reception

During orientation week, the Alumni Association hosts a reception to welcome the incoming class. This event offers students an opportunity to meet alumni in a relaxed and engaging atmosphere, while learning about the multitude of Alumni Association student support programs.

Stethoscopes for Students at the White Coat Ceremony

During the White Coat Ceremony in August, each first-year student receives their first stethoscope. The Stethoscope Fund was created by the Alumni Association and the Moss Family, a longtime friend to Weill Cornell Medicine, to help alleviate the out-of-pocket expenses that students incur in their first year at the Medical College.
